Cuatro L is the largest exclusively Pura Raza Espanola (PRE); breeding facility in Canada and we focus only on the Cerrado en Bocado bloodline. This ancient bloodline is the most sought after bloodline in Spain and features animals with the best conformation, athletic ability and temperament.

We personally chose our original stock and imported them from the best Yeguadas or breeding facilities in Spain during many buying trips over the last decade. By revisiting every few years the same well known Spanish yeguadas we continue to offer quality and variety in the Cerrado en Bocado bloodline.

Our stallions and some of our most talented mares have been trained over the years by different Spanish trainers, brought over from the Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre, The Royal Andalusian School of the Equestrian Art in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, which is the most prestigious riding school in Spain for Alta Escuela and dressage riding.

All of our animals have been inscribed and revised by either Cria Caballar or ANCCE and have the original Spanish passports.

We have over 45 years of riding experience and offer service in both English and Spanish.

Honouring four generations of equine tradition, Cuatro L Andalusian Breeding Centre was established in 1999 by Carlos and Brenda Lara to bring Spanish bred Andalusians to North America. While in Spain we looked at the best farms and bloodlines before purchasing our first import group.

The Andalusians sold at Cuatro L are exclusively Spanish imports and their offspring. From its conception, our emphasis at Cuatro L has been on maintaining the highest quality possible in bloodlines, breeding, training,care and maintenance. Nothing is spared to produce animals of the very best caliber.
