Andalusian Breeding Centre was established in 1999 by Carlos and Brenda Lara to
bring a supreme line of Spanish bred Andalusians to North America. While in
Spain we looked at the best farms and bloodlines before purchasing our first
import group. The Andalusians sold at Cuatro L are exclusively Spanish imports
and their offspring.
From its conception, our emphasis at Cuatro L has been on maintaining the highest quality possible in bloodlines, breeding, training, care and maintenance. Nothing is spared to produce animals of the very best caliber.
Cuatro L continues to support CAPREH (Canadian Association for the Pura Raza Española Horse). Brenda Lara has been elected president of the soon-to-be incorporated association. As one of the largest breeders in Canada it becomes our responsibility to help promote, educate and create awareness of this magnificent breed. In the interest of keeping on top of what’s new we try and visit Spain each fall, making rounds to the breeding farms and taking in SICAB in Sevilla at the end of November. With this influence and by importing horses from Spain on a regular basis we strive to continually improve the quality, training and ability of the horses we sell.
